Transmission Mount (034Motorsport) STREET Density for all 6-Speed MT-CVT B6-B7 A4-S4-RS4
WHAT THEY ARE: A new line of rubber trans mounts made for 034 Motorsport by OE suppliers to 034 Motorsport specifications. For all B6-B7 S4 manual transmission equipped cars.
2 OPTIONS AVAILABLE (Street Density and Track Density) - This is the STREET product
Option 1- STREET DENSITY Mounts are solid rubber mounts with a 50 durometer about 10% stiffer than stock, this means they still ride smooth and quiet but provide a marked improvement in drivetrain dampening over stock mounts. Livable street performance with serious sport intentions. Note, since there are no voids or air pockets in these mounts, even though the rubber is only 10% stiffer, the resulting reduction in drivetrain movement is actually 25% stiffer.
Option 2- TRACK DENSITY (NOT recommended BY JHM due to excess vibration that you feel in your seat) Mounts are also solid rubber mounts, but with an 80 durometer approx 90% stiffer than stock, these are solid for all practical purposes and result in ZERO drivetrain movement. Vibrations from the engine are noticeably increased but not horrible. Definitely not smooth and quiet like stock mounts, but in return you get a completely locked down drivetrain with NO slop or deflection. These are perfect for the street/track enthusiast who doesn't mind a marked increase in vibration from the drivetrain.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN OE MOUNT, OR AN RS4 MOUNT, AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM ANY OTHER SOURCE - These are built by an OE supplier to 034Motorsport specifications.
JH Motorsports has tested these density line mounts on several B6-B7 S4s and RS4s. We have found that the STREET Density trans mount for the B6/B7 S4 & RS4 adds excellent rigidity and only adds very slight vibration at idle which to many is un noticeable. However the RACE Density trans mount does add a substantial amount of vibration to the car at idle, you WILL feel it in the steering wheel and in the seat of the car.
This mount will fit all 6-Speed manual transmission B6-B7 A4s, S4s, and RS4s and CVT B6-B7 A4s.
Choose stiffness below, price PER mount. Only one mount is needed per car. NOTE: You must reuse the factory center bolt and put the supplied spacer between the bolt head and the bottom of the mount as shown HERE If you do not do this or have a bolt that is sticking out to far you risk cracking your rear trans case.

- Installed this myself in about an hour.Really firmed up the overall feel of my car under hard acceleration.I used the street density and no noticable increased vibration.Nice compliment to my arkipol snub mount,and rear diff mount.Small price to pay and worth it in my opinion.
