NOTE: This belt has been updated to a shorter belt as of 3-6-12. It now requires completely unbolting the tensioner (only two 6mm allen bolts) to allow for installation of the belt. Once the belt is on you just bolt the tensioner back on and then set the tension. This shorter than stock belt helps prevent the B6-B7 S4's problematic belt throwing issue.
This is the OEM belt that comes directly from Audi and is the same as the belt that came on your B6/B7 S4 from the factory. OEM PN 079 903 137 E (superceeded to E from A).
NOTE: This is the only belt on a B6/B7 S4. The water pump, A/C compressor and power steering pump are chain driven off of the back of the motor. So this is the ONLY belt you have to worry about replacing. We also carry the tensioner assembly and separate idler pulley that are sometimes prone to making noise with high mileage and may be a good idea to replace when doing the belt. And of course if you like upgrading your S4 we recommend replacing your crank pulley with our lightweight crank pulley and replace your snub mount with the Apikol snub mount we sell when performing these repairs to save labor.
