Belt Tensioner Assembly- Updated (OEM) for B6-B7 S4
[OEM-B67S4BTA]		 $120.00

This is the actual belt tensioner assembly with pulley for the alternator drive belt on the B6/B7 S4 4.2l V8. The bearings in the pulley on this part sometimes fail causing squeaking noises at the front of the motor.

NOTE: There is also a an idler pulley that can make noise as well and is in addition to this part. We sell this as well and due to the labor involved we recommend replacing it at the same time you change this tensioner, since sometimes it is hard to tell which pulley is squeaking. It is also always a good idea to change the belt, which we sell as well in this section. And of course if you like upgrading your S4 we recommend replacing your crank pulley with our lightweight crank pulley and replace your snub mount with the Apikol snub mount we sell when performing these repairs to save labor.

This OEM updated tensioner is the latest and greatest part number. So the quality can't be beat. Why an updated part number? Audi is aware of the early failure of these parts so they updated them.
