We at JHM have been making in house 3" downpipes since 2007 with great success for big boost high powered K04 and larger turbo cars. We never brought them to market and since then 034 has made a wonderful 3" downpipe we now sell instead and use for some of our custom 4" cat back systems that we do in house. So we are happy to sell these parts and we KNOW they work with the right cat back. We recommend a minimum of a dual 2.5" cat back or single 3.5" cat back and we highly recommend a 4" single cat back for optimal performance out of these downpipes. No matter what you do, they do make more power than 2.5" downpipes.

3" Stainless Steel Downpipe pair for the B4 S4 2.7 twin turbo. Most downpipes on the market are not even 3" in diameter, most only 2.5". Thick 1/2" CNC stainless steel turbo flange for warp free sealing. We've spend considerable time engineering a swaged transition from the diamond shaped turbo flange opening for smooth, restriction free flow out of the turbo. No steps, no rough transitions, perfectly smooth. These are the finest 3" downpipes available on the market for the money. The swage piece fits perfectly in the CNC turbo outlet flange into a precision machined step. After final welding, the flange is ported to ensure a perfectly smooth turbo outlet. Downpipes TIG welded and back purged.

Downpipes feature 3" stainless steel flex bellow and are supplied with a 3" v-band outlet, clamp and second bung not included but are available seperately. Also feature OEM location support brackets to be used for OEM downpipe mounting brackets, and OEM location O2 sensor bungs. Take note, we recommend VAST O2 spacer bungs for the rear O2 sensors to prevent cat efficiency codes.

NOTE: Due to the fact that these downpipes are huge and many B5 S4s are heavily modified with different combinations of trans and motor mounts, subframe mounts and age on some parts some clearancing may be required. So far here at JHM we have not had any issues with installs we have performed.
